I thought it was about time I posted a bit of info about how Case Industrial construction is progressing. the track work is nearly finished - all I need is one more section of flex track.

All the sector plates are finished and attached to the layout.

Not that the CSFT was overweight! But in order to fit our new (to us) car into the garage I needed to do some surgery (or is that butchery) to the CSFT.

Construction is progressing nicely. The sector plates have been finished, complete with wires to connect to the wire bus.

After some evening scrictehbuilding activity after full days of work, Forest Junction Hardware Supplies is nearly completed

The front wall of the building has been constructed and detailed. Detail has been added to the interior of the building in the form a loading platform, some people and some industrial clutter.

SO far, the industry for the 'ornary' corner of the CSFT layout near the Bluwall printers building is coming along well. The basic structure has been completed, with some extra bracing for strength. The trackwork inside the building has been completed. Along with the back wall, and the front wall (in relation to the front of the layout).

As part of some content I am providing for an eBook provider, I had the idea of designing and building a HO scale micro layout in a suitcase. Talk about a challenge! It required a lot of thinking 'outside the square', and working out ways to make the layout interesting to operate while keeping costs down and having interesting scenery.

It seems like eons since I last did any real scenic work on the CSFT. But last night I started on a new low relief industry for the area next to Bluwall printers. For quite some time the area has been a bit of an eyesore.
